In order to survive
In a more harmonious way
It is easier to realize that
The world does not revolve
Around one individual
But rather
Is based on more than
A single being,
Encompassed in relationships,
Which priorities are Trust
And the ability to believe
That what is said
Is truly meant;
Whose promises
Will never waiver...

"NO MORE"

After so many years
Of believing in empty words,
Promises not kept,
Being labelled "FRIEND",
Hearing " I Love You"
And then being stabbed in the back
With all false intentions
Left lying on the floor
While I cry the night away
Trying for sleep
And wondering "Why?"
Until dawn breaks

It is now time that
I turn down the
Participation of being Pawn
And no longer partake in
These ruthless games
That the loser has
Always been my destination
While the heart
Never really mends

Learning to walk away
And not look back
Is an internal battle but
One that I am finally
Learning to do
And remain the Victor
Of my soul, I shall
No matter who it is
Testing my strength
No more...No more...
Deep down inside, I know
Who the real loser has become
The games are over
Walking away...

ANY LONGER CLEAR
BUT MADE UP OF
GRAYS AND WHITES
IN A SEA
OF TEMPEST EMOTIONS
MY COMPASS
ONLY SEEKS RIGHTS

IN THIS WORLD IT SEEMS
THERE ARE ALL TOO MANY
IN DIRE STRAITS
NEEDING HELP BUT FOR WHY?

FOR WHATEVER THE INJUSTICE
RIGHT IS JUST BEYOND THEIR GATES
WHILE THE LOSERS, ABUSERS,
ONES WHO PROVE WORTHLESS
KEEP MOVING ON WITH THEIR WRONG
GRASPING CREDIT FOR LITTLE
LESS THAN EMPTY PROMISES
AND ALOT OF HOT AIR

GRANT THE CHILDREN,
OLD OR YOUNG,
WHO TRULY ARE WALKING
SILENTLY, THEIR OWN WAY,
IN A PATH PLEASING
FOR YE
A BIT MORE MERCY FOR
THE SUFFERING HAS
COME TO A POINT
WHICH IS UNBEARABLE
FOR THEE
