Hi,,,My nickname is Freak. Nee Dorothy Ciscewski.
I am first generation Australian from Polish heritage. During High School I loved Accounting, History, Maths, English, Geography and Art. From there, won many prizes for my Art at the Annual Agricultural show. I have diplomas in Hotel Management, Psychology and Information Technology.
Having been diagnosed with Lupus and Virtigo 11 years ago brought my world to a half. It forced me to re-assess how I lived and thought.
I have always loved to Draw and as a child would often be scolded for using all of the writing paper that we had. I won my first coloring competition when I was 6 or 7 years old. The prize was a camera, much to my parents' dismay (because of the cost of films and developing) but they encouraged me anyway. That was the start of my love of Photography, which remains true to date.
My art is based on Symbolism and Spirituality and has been inspired immensely by the Ancient Rock Art we have seen in our travels around Australia. I love bright colors and attempt to portray my feelings through whatever medium that is at my disposal.
I don't have hobbies, per se. I have Passions... They are anything through which I can create, from Gardening to my Art.
