Many historians have applied various theories to the Holocaust and all that it stood for.
Trying to make sense out of Hatred and Prejudice just does not seem to excuse what happened to a nation of people and others who stood up for their right of religious choice and existence.
The numbers were such that if the people, who succumbed to all of the atrocities this unforgiveable time brought, stood up to their captors, rapists and warlords, World War II and The Holocaust would not be.
Even though there were the small numbers of vigilante groups, the main portion of the population stood by their conviction to
"Love Thy Neighbor",
"Thou Shalt Not Kill"
and let their faith guide them to a place where consolation and freedom could be found.
Although the suffering and losses were senseless, I am glad that they did not compromise their precious idealisms.
In an attempt to interject my overwhelming feelings for mourning this event and these people, I have tried to use my Digital Imagery to capture some of these moments in history.
I only hope, with my limitations of being a very small being up against a very powerful subject, that my art was able to at least embrace it in some way and evoke in viewers all that needs to be
