Changing Colors

A baby Pink--so precious,
Blues and Yellows too.
Blankets laid on beds.

But, later Devil appeared,
Red, Brown, Black were near--
Colors that did not blend.

White tried to interrupt,
But too weak, too late;
Time became a cloudy Gray.

Days became stormy
With color Gray around.
Only color they knew.

But, the color Yellow
Surprised them with hope;
No need now for another.
