MOTHER'S DAY 2009- TO MY MOTHER

You decided to
make a choice
Bringing into the world
A new creation,,,
Another voice.

That you did
For I speak my mind
If it wasn't for you
And all that you taught
There wouldn't be
a "ME" or an "I"
Unique; it cannot be denied.

Many say "You are one of a kind"
For that I give you thanks
Making me whole
To give to the world
Not afraid to bear my soul

But I then lost you
After fifty plus years
You were my best friend
Now only my tears

You must know my emptiness
Was filled only by you
Now that you are gone
I have but a few
That, from day to day,
Help me make it
But I have to admit
I will never find my way
Back to once that was
When you were there
To light the way

Like all of us, I am sure
Sometimes it went without saying
Just how very
special you were
I took for granted
You would always be here
Not then fully aware
Until you were gone
And, waking up lost,
That my life would go unshared

I send up daily prayers
To the Father, Son and Holy Ghost
Asking the Unity
To continue taking care of us
Even though separated
I love you now more than ever
Happy Mother's Day
You are lovingly celebrated.

Now come on my Pammi smile,
    you're sad only because you miss me
And after all, there is nothing
    that can bring me back there physically
I'm there with you now though
    in your hearts as too your thought
My life will live on over an endless generation
    and never be cut short
You know I was also there
    to dry all those tears that you shed for me
Beyond all understanding I was aside you in a way miraculously
I'll be here for you too, pleading
    to heal any pain you ever feel in life
In times of love harmony, struggling,
    be those times turmoil or strife
Not in a way that you'll see me,
    but look deeply and feel in your heart I'm there,
at your side always,
    an Angel's wisdom and love I'll impart
All those that went on before me,
    they held my hand tightly when I left
Happy to see them all I looked back,
    and was sad to see you so bereft
But one day in time with me here,
    you too will know grasp understand
After life comes a place so beautiful,
    family friends too to hold my hand
All I went through was painful,
    yet one day you'll know as we meet again
Listen with care as I now say, life goes on,
    I love you, God Bless until then.
